About
Bennett Springs Campground sits in the scenic Albion Mountains within the Sawtooth National Forest, offering a quiet and rustic camping experience. This primitive campground features 6 sites, each able to accommodate up to 8 visitors with a maximum of 2 vehicles per site. Vehicles must park on the provided gravel spurs. The campground is best suited for tent camping given its primitive nature. Amenities are limited but functional: vault toilets are available, and each site has a picnic table. Campers must bring their own drinking water as none is available on site. Fishing opportunities exist in the nearby creek. Horses are not permitted in the campground, and standard 14-day stay limits apply within any 28-day period. Access is via Forest Road 549, reached by traveling west and north from Malta on ID-77. The campground is typically accessible from June through October, though opening dates vary depending on snow conditions. The road is unpaved and may be rough in spots.
Directions
