The campground is designed for tent camping and provides basic amenities including vault toilets, fire rings, and picnic tables. Three horse corrals are available for equestrians, though horses are not permitted within the campground itself. The campground serves as the primary access point for the Skyline Trail (No. 513), a 26.2-mile route that begins at the back of the campground and traverses some of southern Idaho's most spectacular terrain before ending at City of Rocks National Reserve. The area sits within a landscape known for its beautiful wildflowers and abundant wildlife. Campers should come prepared with their own water supply, as potable water is not available on-site. The campground enforces a 14-day stay limit within any 28-day period.
