About

City Creek Campground sits at roughly 6,800 feet in the Fishlake National Forest, about 6 miles northwest of Junction, Utah. Cottonwood trees shade the five individual campsites and group area, all positioned along City Creek. The creek supports rainbow trout and is occasionally stocked near the campground. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring, and the campground has a vault toilet but no potable water. This is a popular staging point for OHV enthusiasts. Riders can head north on jeep trails or southeast to connect with the Paiute ATV Trail, which leads through Oak and Cottonwood Basins to an extensive network atop the mountains. Hikers and equestrians will find trails ascending both the North and South forks of City Creek, with the best fishing on the south fork. The campground is free and operates first-come-first-served with no reservations. Sites are fairly small and trailers are not recommended. A 16-day camping limit applies, and ATVs must stay on designated routes per the Beaver Ranger District Travel Map.

From Junction, Utah, head west on Center Street (Hwy-153) for 5.7 miles. Turn right on FR-131 for 0.6 miles to the campground.
