Cedarville State Forest Campground

Open — The campground is currently open for reservations from April through October. A section of the Blue Trail is closed due to an unsafe bridge; visitors are advised to follow directions to other trails.

About

Cedarville State Forest, encompassing 3,707 acres, offers a diverse range of recreational activities. The campground features 27 sites, each equipped with a picnic table, fire ring with a grill, and a lantern post. Inner loop sites provide electric hookups, while outer loop sites are primitive. A centrally located bathhouse offers hot showers and flush toilets. The forest boasts over 19 miles of trails suitable for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, traversing diverse ecosystems including hardwood forests and pine plantations. A four-acre pond is available for bank fishing, stocked with species like bluegill, catfish, sunfish, and bass. Hunting is permitted in designated areas during appropriate seasons. The campground operates from April through October, with reservations required. Pets are allowed in the family camping loop.
