About

Browns Camp OHV Campground is an Oregon Department of Forestry facility located in the Tillamook State Forest, designed specifically for off-highway vehicle enthusiasts. The campground features 28 first-come, first-served campsites and one reservable group site that accommodates up to 24 people. All campsites include a picnic table and fire grate, with five vault toilets and trash service available throughout the facility. The campground serves as the eastern-most OHV staging area in Tillamook State Forest and is recommended for novice and amateur riders. Direct trail access from the campground connects visitors to over 250 miles of OHV opportunities across the Browns Camp, Jordan Creek, and Diamond Mill areas. Trail difficulty ranges from easy to moderate, with designated routes supporting motorcycles, Class III ATVs, quads, four-wheel drive vehicles, and side-by-sides. An ATV Operating Permit is required for overnight use at Browns Camp OHV Campground. The facility operates seasonally from April 1 through October 31, with individual campsites available for $20 per night and the group site for $50 per night. Winter weather and snow conditions can occasionally delay the April opening date.
