About

Jones Creek Campground sits within the scenic Tillamook State Forest along the Trees to Sea Scenic Byway (Highway 6). Managed by the Oregon Department of Forestry, this campground provides a classic Pacific Northwest forest camping experience with sites shaded by second-growth timber. The campground offers 28 drive-in sites and 14 walk-in tent sites on a first-come, first-served basis, plus one reservable group site accommodating up to 24 people. The location provides excellent access to recreation opportunities. The Wilson River Trail passes directly through the campground, connecting to the nearby Tillamook Forest Center via a 250-foot suspension bridge. Jones Creek Day Use Area, a popular swimming spot on the Wilson River, is within walking distance. An equestrian trailhead is located across the road. Facilities include vault toilets, potable water, picnic tables at each site, and fire rings. The drive-in sites and facilities are ADA accessible. Firewood is available for purchase from the camp host. This is a tent-only campground with no RV hookups available.
