Jones Creek Campground provides pleasant camping opportunities in the heart of Tillamook State Forest along the Trees to Sea Scenic Byway (Highway 6). Situated among Douglas-fir, alder, and maple trees adjacent to the Wilson River, the campground offers 28 first-come first-served drive-in tent sites and 14 walk-in tent sites, plus one reservable group site accommodating up to 24 people. Located at milepost 22.5 on Highway 6, the campground is 23 miles east of Tillamook and 27 miles west of Banks. The Wilson River Trail is directly accessible from the campground, connecting visitors to Jones Creek Day Use Area, a popular swimming hole on the Wilson River, and the nearby Tillamook Forest Center. The campground provides vault toilets, drinking water, and ADA-accessible facilities. A horseshoe pit adds to recreational amenities. All drive-in sites and walk-in sites are first-come first-served with no advance reservations, while the group site can be reserved through ReserveAmerica.

Directions

Travel on Highway 6 to milepost 22.5. Turn onto North Fork Road and travel 0.5 miles to the campground entrance on the left across from Equestrian Trailhead.
