Bridge Bay Campground sits at 7,800 feet elevation adjacent to Yellowstone Lake, one of the largest high-elevation freshwater lakes in North America. The campground offers diverse settings with lower loops providing open, sunny meadow sites and upper loops featuring wooded campsites nestled among trees. Some sites have distant views of Yellowstone Lake and the Absaroka Range rising above the lake's eastern shore. With over 400 regular sites and 4 group sites, Bridge Bay accommodates tents, RVs up to 40 feet, and combination RV/tent setups. The campground features 16 public restrooms with flush toilets and cold running water, dishwashing stations, a dump station, and recycling facilities. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire grate. The campground is located just two miles south of Lake Village and adjacent to Bridge Bay Marina, making it ideal for boating and fishing enthusiasts. Reservations are managed by Yellowstone National Park Lodges. The campground operates seasonally from mid-May through mid-September, with the first week available on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to its location, early season loops may be closed due to bear activity. There are no hookups available at any campsites, and shower facilities are not available on-site but can be found at nearby Fishing Bridge RV Park.
