About
Fishing Bridge RV Park occupies a prime location in Yellowstone's Lake area at 7,800 feet elevation, situated where the Yellowstone River begins its journey from Yellowstone Lake toward the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. As the only campground in the park offering full utility hookups, it draws RVers seeking water, sewer, and electrical connections (50-amp and 30-amp available). The campground consists of two distinct areas. The upper loop contains 172 renovated, paved sites ranging from 40 to 95 feet in length, suitable for large rigs. The lower loop offers gravel back-in sites accommodating units 30 to 35 feet. Both pull-through and back-in configurations are available. Unlike other Yellowstone campgrounds, Fishing Bridge has no length-of-stay limit. Due to frequent grizzly bear presence, strict regulations apply: only completely hard-sided units are allowed, and all food, coolers, grills, toiletries, and pet supplies must remain inside vehicles or RVs at all times. No food storage boxes are provided. Campfires and portable fire pits are prohibited, though propane and charcoal grills are permitted. Generators may operate 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 60 decibels or less. Nearby Lake Village offers additional services including the Lake Yellowstone Hotel, medical clinic, and post office.
