Fishing Bridge RV Park sits at an elevation of 7,800 feet near the mouth of the Yellowstone River as it flows out of Yellowstone Lake, offering the only full-hookup camping experience within Yellowstone National Park. The campground is named after the historic Fishing Bridge, a wooden vehicle bridge that was once a popular spot for anglers pursuing native Cutthroat trout. This facility is unique among Yellowstone's campgrounds in providing water, sewer, and electrical hookups at all 310 sites. Due to the area's classification as important grizzly bear habitat, strict regulations prohibit tents and tent trailers. Only hard-sided recreational vehicles are permitted, making this an ideal base camp for RV travelers exploring the park's central attractions. The campground offers modern amenities including four ADA-accessible comfort stations with flush toilets, coin-operated showers, laundry facilities, and a seasonal camp store. Ice and trash collection services are also provided. Located on the Grand Loop Road near the intersection of the Lake and East Entrance roads, Fishing Bridge provides convenient access to Yellowstone Lake, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and nearby thermal features. The facility is managed and operated by Yellowstone National Park Lodges (Xanterra), which handles all reservations. Unlike other Yellowstone campgrounds, there is no stay limit at Fishing Bridge RV Park, and campfires (including portable fire pits) are not permitted.
