About

Blue Spring Campground occupies a picturesque bend of the Jacks Fork River in Missouri's Ozark National Scenic Riverways. The campground provides access to excellent river activities including swimming, floating, and fishing during warmer months, while fall and winter reveal dramatic bluff views and vibrant foliage. This backcountry campground features 7 sites, a mix of standard nonelectric and tent-only sites. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern post. A vault toilet serves the campground, but there is no potable water, so campers must bring their own supply. The campground is accessed via approximately 2 miles of gravel road from Highway OO-493. Note: Blue Spring Campground should not be confused with the Blue Spring on the Current River east of Eminence, which does not offer camping.

Directions

From Mountain View, MO, drive east on Highway 60 for 3 miles. Turn left onto Highway OO and drive north for about 2.5 miles. After a large bend, turn left onto County Road OO-493. Follow the main path for about 2 miles to Blue Spring Campground. The final 2 miles are on gravel road.
