About

Blue Rock State Park Shelters are three day-use picnic shelter houses scattered throughout this quiet 322-acre park in the rolling hills of Muskingum County, Ohio. The shelters provide covered gathering spaces for groups, with two of the three offering electrical hookups. All three shelters feature fireplaces. One shelter sits near the historic Blue Rock Covered Bridge, adding scenic charm for special events. These are strictly day-use facilities, not overnight camping accommodations. The shelter houses are popular for weddings, family reunions, company picnics, and other group gatherings. Reservations are made through the Ohio State Parks reservation system. The park itself surrounds 15-acre Cutler Lake and offers hiking trails, swimming beach, and fishing opportunities for shelter visitors to enjoy during their event.
