* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, including the following areas, Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Jefferson OH, Monroe, Muskingum, Noble and Tuscarawas and West Virginia, including the following areas, Brooke, Hancock, Marshall, Ohio and Wetzel. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain with localized amounts up to 3 inches is possible from showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Located in Dillon State Park in Muskingum County, these cabins offer a comfortable retreat in Ohio's picturesque hill country. The park features wooded hills, scenic valleys, and access to Dillon Lake with its quiet coves and inlets. Cabins are situated in two separate areas within the park, providing privacy in natural wooded settings. The heated cabins are equipped with multiple sleeping areas, typically including queen beds, twin beds, and cots, accommodating families and small groups. Five cabins are designated as pet-friendly, allowing dogs on leash. All cabins are available for year-round rental and can be reserved up to six months in advance through the Ohio State Parks reservation system. The park offers diverse recreational opportunities including hiking trails, mountain bike trails, horseback riding trails, a swimming beach, marina, fishing areas, and sports facilities such as tennis and basketball courts. The park office and camp office provide on-site support for visitors seeking information about activities and amenities throughout their stay.
