About

Dillon State Park Campground sits on the shores of 1,560-acre Dillon Lake in Muskingum County, offering one of eastern Ohio's most popular camping destinations. The campground features 195 sites spread across three loops (Area A, B, and C) with varying levels of shade and privacy. Most sites have electric hookups (183 sites), while 14 premium sites offer full water, electric, and sewer connections. Walk-in primitive sites provide a more secluded tent camping experience. The park provides excellent amenities including three shower houses with flush toilets, a dump station, and each campsite comes equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. Activities abound with access to the lake for fishing, boating, and swimming at the 1,360-foot beach. The park also features hiking trails, an equestrian campground, and rental cabins. The campground operates year-round, making it a destination for all seasons. During winter months (November 1 through April 1), services are reduced with only shower house A and the dump station available, and no rinse water provided. Reservations can be made up to six months in advance through ReserveOhio.
