About

Wolf Run Campground occupies a scenic stretch of woodland on the northern shore of Wolf Run Lake in southeastern Ohio's Noble County. The 137-site campground divides into 72 electric and 65 non-electric sites spread through a forested setting. Each site comes equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. Two shower houses serve campers along with laundry facilities and a dump station for RV waste disposal. A seasonal camp office operates during peak season selling camping supplies, snacks, and basic necessities. The 220-acre lake anchors the park's recreation, offering a public swimming beach with changing facilities and vault latrines, a boat launch with tie-ups on the south shore, and good fishing for bass, bluegill, and catfish. Three hiking trails wind through the park including a 3.5-mile segment of the Buckeye Trail. A playground and basketball court round out the family-friendly amenities. One two-room camper cabin accommodates up to four guests year-round with a refrigerator, microwave, heat, ceiling fan, and porch. A primitive fly-in camping area with 20 sites serves pilots at the adjacent grass airstrip, and an organized youth group area offers walk-in tent camping for scout troops and similar groups.
