Dillon Day Use Shelters
This is a day-use facility for picnic shelter reservations only. Overnight camping is not available at the day-use shelters. For overnight stays at Dillon State Park, reserve at the separate Dillon State Park Campground.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, including the following areas, Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Jefferson OH, Monroe, Muskingum, Noble and Tuscarawas and West Virginia, including the following areas, Brooke, Hancock, Marshall, Ohio and Wetzel. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain with localized amounts up to 3 inches is possible from showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Dillon Day Use Shelters are group picnic facilities at Dillon State Park in Muskingum County, Ohio, approximately six miles northwest of Zanesville. These shelters provide covered gathering spaces for family reunions, group outings, and special events with views of Dillon Lake and the surrounding forested landscape. The shelters include picnic tables, BBQ grills, and access to playground areas. The park offers additional recreational opportunities including swimming at the beach, fishing, hiking trails, and disc golf. The area is open 24 hours, though these are day-use facilities and overnight camping is not permitted at the shelter sites. Reservations can be made through ReserveOhio. For overnight camping at Dillon State Park, visitors should book at the separate Dillon State Park Campground, which offers electric campsites.
Directions
Located along State Route 146, approximately 7 miles north of Zanesville. Access Route 146 via State Route 16 from the north or US Route 40 and Interstate 70 from the south.
