Most sites have limited privacy from neighboring campers but offer beautiful natural surroundings where a variety of wildlife makes its home. The North Fork Boise River provides excellent rainbow trout fishing opportunities in a scenic setting, with many swimming holes within a short distance of the campground. The area offers numerous trail opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and dirt biking. OHV enthusiasts will find both road and trail riding options in the vicinity. The campground contains several single-family campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. Some sites also feature grills. Amenities include vault toilets, drinking water from a hand pump, and trash collection. Both reservable and first-come, first-served sites are available through Recreation.gov. Note that campsite #1 is near rocks where rattlesnakes have been observed.
