About

Lake Dardanelle State Park sits on the shores of Lake Dardanelle, a 34,300-acre impoundment of the Arkansas River near Russellville. The park operates two camping areas: the main Russellville location with 57 sites and a smaller Dardanelle area with 18 sites. The Russellville campground offers Class AAA sites with water, 50-amp electric, and sewer hookups, Class AA sites with water, 30-amp electric, and sewer, and Class B sites with water and 30-amp electric. The Dardanelle area provides Class B sites. The campground features modern bathhouses with hot showers and flush toilets that remain open year-round. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill. An RV dump station is available on-site. The park provides boat ramps, fishing piers, a swimming beach, and canoe/kayak rentals. Lake Dardanelle is renowned for its bass and catfish fishery, and the park hosts numerous fishing tournaments. The visitor center showcases five aquariums highlighting local aquatic life, and the Sport Fishing Weigh-in Pavilion supports competitive anglers. A boardwalk and trails offer opportunities for hiking and wildlife observation.
