Open — Open year-round with bathhouse facilities available throughout the year. Visitor center open daily 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. RVs and campers over 24 feet are not permitted due to the challenging switchback road with steep grades.

Mount Nebo State Park Campground is located atop Mount Nebo, a flat-topped mountain rising 1,350 feet above the Arkansas River Valley in Yell County, Arkansas. Established in 1927 as one of Arkansas's first state parks, the campground and surrounding facilities were constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. The campground offers 34 campsites including 24 Class B sites with water and 30-amp electric hookups, and 10 primitive hike-in tent sites. Many campsites provide spectacular views of Lake Dardanelle, the Arkansas River, and nearby mountain ranges. The park's location provides cooler temperatures and lush vegetation compared to the valley below, making it a favorite summer retreat. Access to the mountaintop is via Arkansas Highway 155 West, a challenging one-way road with 11 switchbacks and grades up to 18%, which restricts entry to RVs and campers 24 feet or shorter. The campground lacks a dump station, so visitors should plan accordingly. The park features over 32 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, a swimming pool, tennis courts, picnic areas, and a visitor center with gift shop. Mount Nebo State Park is also a certified Trail of Tears National Historic Trail Site, offering historical significance alongside its natural beauty.

Located 7 miles west of Dardanelle via Arkansas Highway 155 West. The access road features 11 switchbacks with grades up to 18% and is one-way only. Not suitable for vehicles over 24 feet.
