Piney Bay Campground occupies a scenic stretch of shoreline on Dardanelle Lake, a 40,000-acre impoundment of the Arkansas River in western Arkansas. The campground features 68 reservable sites spread across multiple loops, with most sites offering 50-amp electric service and many including water hookups. Paved back-in driveways accommodate rigs up to 63 feet on select sites, though many sites max out around 26 feet. Facilities are well-developed for a Corps campground, with flush toilets, hot showers, and a dump station on site. Recreation centers on the lake, with two boat ramps providing easy access for fishing and boating. Dardanelle Lake is known for white bass, largemouth bass, crappie, bream, and large catfish. A swim beach and playground round out the family-friendly amenities. The surrounding area lies between the Ozark and Ouachita National Forests, and the region draws bald eagles during winter months. Bona Dea Trails and Sanctuary, with 86 acres of wetlands and six miles of trails, offers additional hiking opportunities nearby.

From London, Arkansas, take US-64 west for 3 miles to State Route 359 north. Continue for 3.5 miles and follow signs into the campground.
