About

Apple Creek Campground is a small, primitive campground with seven sites situated on the banks of the Wild and Scenic North Umpqua River, at the scenic confluence of Apple and Panther Creeks. The riverside setting provides a peaceful atmosphere with the sounds of flowing water and excellent fishing access. This first-come, first-served campground offers basic amenities including vault toilets, picnic tables at each site, and fire rings for campfires when conditions allow. No potable water is available, so campers must bring their own supply. The campground is well-suited for tent camping and smaller rigs seeking a quiet riverside experience. Anglers will appreciate the diverse fishing opportunities, with deep pools and steady riffles providing easy access to wade-able areas along the North Umpqua River, known for its steelhead and trout populations.
