About
Apple Creek Campground is a small, intimate campground with seven sites located along the Wild and Scenic North Umpqua River, approximately 28 miles east of Glide on Highway 138. The campground sits at the scenic confluence of Apple and Panther Creeks, offering campers the soothing sounds of flowing water and access to excellent fishing opportunities. Deep pools and steady riffles provide diverse angling conditions with easy access to wade-able areas along the river. This first-come, first-served campground is operated by a concessionaire under permit from the Umpqua National Forest. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire pit. Vault toilets are available, but campers must bring their own water as no potable water is provided on-site. The campground is situated along Highway 138, providing convenient access while maintaining a peaceful riverside setting. The campground operates seasonally, typically from May through September or October, depending on weather conditions. A 14-day maximum stay limit applies. Quiet hours are enforced between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., and pets must be leashed. OHV/ATV use is prohibited within the campground.

From Roseburg, turn onto OR-138 E/NE Diamond Lake Blvd. Continue approximately 16 miles to Glide. From the North Umpqua Ranger Station in Glide, take Highway 138 east 28 miles to Apple Creek Campground on the right side of the highway.
