Weed Free Hay Order 04-2021-03
Prohibited by this order: Possessing, storing, or transporting non-pelletized hay, straw, or mulch in the Intermountain Region, unless it is certified as weed free by the state where the product originated.

Updated closure of National Forest System Road 625, and portions of NFSRs 653 and 624 due to safety hazards resulting from the 2024 Lava Fire. These routes are closed to motorized and mechanized travel, but open to foot and livestock use.
Public Safety Occupancy and Use on all Boise National Forest Lands
This Order applies to all National Forest System lands and roads within the Boise National Forest for purposes of public health and safety.
Flat Fire GNA Salvage Road and Trail Closure
The purpose of this Order is to protect public safety during timber operations near the Flat Fire burn area. These will be in effect from June 20 through December 31, 2025.

About
Ten Mile Campground is a small, scenic campground located approximately 48 miles northeast of Boise, Idaho, along State Highway 21 on the Idaho City Ranger District of the Boise National Forest. Situated about 10 miles north of historic Idaho City, the campground features 16 sites divided into two sections, Upper and Lower Ten Mile, split by the highway. The campground is nestled in a beautiful old-growth ponderosa pine forest, with wildflowers abundant during summer months. The campground offers a mix of reservable and first-come, first-served sites, with many sites providing direct access to Mores Creek for fishing. Sites include campfire rings, picnic tables, and vault toilets. Potable water is available via hand pump, though it is tested monthly and may be shut off if contamination is detected. The campground operates on a pack-in, pack-out basis with no trash service. The surrounding area provides numerous recreational opportunities including hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and off-road vehicle use. During winter months, the area becomes a playground for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. The campground is located in a remote area with limited cell service, with the closest service available in Idaho City or at Mores Creek Summit.
Directions
From Idaho City, travel State Highway 21 north for about 10 miles to the campground. There are signed entrances on the left and right sides of the road, as the campground is divided into upper and lower sections on either side of the highway.
