About
Anderson Meadow Campground is nestled in the high country of Fishlake National Forest, situated above the scenic Anderson Meadow Reservoir at 9,400 feet elevation. The campground provides eight single-family sites and two group sites, shaded by a mix of aspens and conifers. All sites include picnic tables, prep tables, and fire rings. The 8-acre reservoir offers fishing for brook and rainbow trout from the shoreline or small non-motorized watercraft. Wildlife viewing opportunities abound, with elk, deer, moose, black bear, cougar, and mountain goats inhabiting the surrounding forest. The Piute ATV Trail system has trailheads nearby, though ATVs must be trailered as there is no direct access from the campground. The campground has potable water available from a hand pump and two vault toilets. No hookups or dump station are available; the nearest dump station is in Beaver. This is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out facility. Sites accommodate RVs and trailers from 24 to 40 feet but are back-in only.
Directions
From Beaver, travel 10 miles east on UT-153, then turn right onto Kents Lake Road (FR-137) and continue 8.3 miles to the campground. Total distance approximately 18.3 miles from Beaver.
