Prohibited by this order: Possessing, storing, or transporting non-pelletized hay, straw, or mulch in the Intermountain Region, unless it is certified as weed free by the state where the product originated.

Explosives and Exploding Target Order 04-2021-02

This order prohibits the use of explosives and exploding targets on National Forest System lands within the Intermountain Region.

**1. You are in bear country when camping at Jenny Lake Campground. Please put all food, coolers, storage containers, utensils, and anything that has an odor. in a closed, locked vehicle or bear box provided, with the doors closed properly, when not directly supervising the use of these items.** **2. There is a limit of 1 vehicle OR 2 motorcycles AT ALL TIMES PER SITE. No towable trailers of any size are allowed in Jenny Campground, and no generators are allowed in Jenny Campground.** **3. Please consider Colter Bay Campground or Gros Ventre Campground for any group site needs. Jenny Campground has car restrictions and only one bathroom and is not conducive for group camping. Thank you.**

Antler Collection Not Permitted Inside Park Boundaries

Elk are shedding their antlers in and around Grand Teton. People visiting or passing through the park must note that it's illegal to take, collect, retrieve, possess, or transport any natural product, including shed antlers, from the park at any time.

Menors Ferry Road Closure

Menors Ferry Road will be closed 7/26/2025 for a special event. Access to the Chapel of the Transfiguration will be walk-in only. Parking is available at Windy Point or Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center.

Fire restrictions in place

Stage 1 fire restrictions are in place. Campfires are only allowed in designated metal fire grates. Teton Interagency Fire has more information.

* WHAT...Snow expected. Additional snow accumulations of 6 to 11 inches. Additional accumulations of 12 to 16 inches are expected in the higher elevations with amounts nearing 2 feet in the Tetons. Widespread wind gusts of 25 to 35 mph, with higher elevations gusting around 45 mph. * WHERE...Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains. * WHEN...Until 5 PM MST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult at times, especially over Teton and Togwotee Passes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall will vary between light to moderate intensity through Wednesday evening. The most likely period of moderate snowfall will be Tuesday evening through Wednesday morning.
