Closed — Closed for the season. Opens in April. Water is shut off after September 30, trash services end October 4, and all services end October 15, after which the campground is available for camping without fees or services.

ESFPDT Moderate rain this weekend in the Washington Cascades and northern Blue Mountains combined with snowmelt from above normal temperatures will lead to river rises this weekend and early next week. Most rivers are currently running at low levels and the increased streamflows will not be a problem. However, the Naches River at Cliffdell and at Naches are expected to rise above Action Stage early Saturday through Monday. The Grande Ronde River at Troy is expected to rise but stay barely below Action Stage Monday through Tuesday morning. Only localized minor flooding is expected. Please monitor the latest river forecasts from the National Weather Service for additional information.

Nestled amongst Engelmann spruce and other conifers in the Blue Mountains, Woodward Campground offers a peaceful forested setting with ample shade and convenient access to wilderness trails. The campground is situated on the edge of Langdon Lake, a private body of water that campers cannot access, though some campsites offer scenic views across the water. The campground serves as an excellent base for exploring the North Fork Umatilla Wilderness, which offers numerous hiking trails and outstanding wildlife viewing opportunities. A hiking trail begins right at the campground, making it easy to explore the surrounding high-country terrain. The area is characterized by diverse coniferous forests and typical Blue Mountains scenery. Located just off Highway 204 approximately 20 miles east of Weston or 21 miles northwest of Elgin, Woodward Campground provides a relatively accessible mountain camping experience. The campground operates seasonally from April through October, with limited services available after mid-October for those seeking a more primitive camping experience.

From Weston, Oregon: Travel 20 miles east on Highway 204. 0.5 miles past the Tollgate Crossing store, turn right to the campground entrance. From Elgin, Oregon: Travel 21 miles northwest on Highway 204. 0.5 miles past Skyline Rd/NF 64 Rd, turn left to the campground entrance.
