About

Lane Farm Campground is a small, rustic campground in Wayne National Forest's Marietta Unit, located along the National Forest Covered Bridge Scenic Byway. The site occupies land that was formerly the Lane family farm and features four campsites positioned along the Little Muskingum River. The campground provides a quiet, primitive camping experience in southeastern Ohio's forested landscape. This is a basic facility with vault toilets but no potable water, so campers must bring their own drinking water. Sites are first-come, first-served and cost $10 per night, with a 50% discount available for holders of Interagency Senior or Access passes. The campground's riverside location offers opportunities for stream fishing, wildlife viewing, and enjoying the scenic beauty of the surrounding national forest. The campground is located approximately 5 miles north of Marietta via State Route 26 (Greene Street), making it easily accessible for those exploring the region's covered bridges and forest recreation areas. Its small size and primitive amenities make it ideal for campers seeking a quiet, back-to-basics experience.
