Wolf Creek State Park sits on the shores of Lake Shelbyville, eight miles northwest of Windsor in Shelby County. The park and adjoining Eagle Creek State Recreation Area together encompass over 11,000 acres of water and 250 miles of shoreline, making it a prime destination for fishing, boating, water skiing, and swimming alongside camping. The campground offers 304 Class A sites equipped with electricity, picnic tables, and access to modern restroom and shower facilities. An additional 78 Class C primitive sites provide a more rustic experience at lower cost. Two family tent camping areas, an organized group camp, an equestrian campground, and a campground cabin round out the options. The Lick Creek section contains 140 reservable sites, while Sand Creek operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Accessibility is well-supported with five ADA-compliant sites at Lick Creek (sites 78-82) and five at Sand Creek (sites 205-208, 210), each featuring wheelchair-accessible picnic tables and fire pits. Vault toilets are distributed throughout the park at both campgrounds, the boat ramp, and trailheads.
