Wolf Creek Group Site is set near the banks of Little River within Umpqua National Forest, providing a spacious setting for family reunions, celebrations, and group getaways. The site features a large open area hemmed by a forest canopy, with amenities including a shelter with fireplace, multiple picnic tables, campfire rings, and grills. Recreational facilities include a ball field, volleyball court, and horseshoe pits. The campground accommodates up to 150 people and is reservable through Recreation.gov. Portable toilets and potable water are available on site. The nearby Little River offers fishing and swimming opportunities, while several trailheads for the 79-mile North Umpqua National Recreation Trail are accessible from the vicinity. Mountain biking is also popular in the area. Visitors to the Umpqua National Forest are often struck by the unique landscapes of southwestern Oregon, shaped by explosive geologic events. Nearby attractions include Yakso Falls and Grotto Falls, both easy hikes, and the 172-mile Rogue-Umpqua National Scenic Byway.

Directions

From Roseburg, OR, travel east on OR-138 East for approximately 16 miles. Turn right onto Little River Road 17. Continue on Little River Road for 12 miles to Wolf Creek Campground, located on the right side of the road. The group site is within the campground.
