The guest house is closed for ADA renovations and remodeling through spring and summer 2026. Check the Minnesota DNR website for reopening updates. When operational, reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance through the Minnesota State Parks reservation system.

About

Wild River Guest House offers a comfortable lodging experience within Wild River State Park, situated along 18 miles of the scenic St. Croix National Scenic Riverway. The two-bedroom house sleeps up to six guests with one queen bed, one double-over-single bunk, and a single roll-out. Guests must bring their own bedding and linens. The guest house features modern conveniences including a full kitchen with coffeemaker, microwave, cookware and utensils, a bathroom with tub/shower unit, central air conditioning and heat, a fireplace, and television. The outdoor space includes a deck, picnic table, campfire ring, and pedestal grill with parking available for up to six vehicles. Wild River State Park provides opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and interpretive programs. The park also offers semi-modern camping, group camping, equestrian camping, backpack camping, canoe camping, and six camping cabins.

Directions

From the Twin Cities, take I-35 north to exit 139 for North Branch. Head east on MN-95 for approximately 14 miles to the park entrance on the right. Follow park signs to the guesthouse.
