About

Whiskey Rock Bay Campground is a rustic, no-fee campground located on the west shore of Lake Pend Oreille in the Idaho Panhandle National Forests. The campground features 9 campsites, with 3 sites positioned directly on the lake, offering stunning water views and easy access to recreation. In addition to the campsites, there are 4 designated picnic sites with fire rings. The facility includes vault toilets, a boat dock, and a swimming beach, making it an ideal destination for water-based activities including motorized and non-motorized boating, fishing, and swimming. Accessible by a scenic 30-mile drive south from Clark Fork on Road 278 (Johnson Creek Road), or by boat from Lake Pend Oreille (approximately 10 miles south of Garfield Bay), Whiskey Rock Bay offers a remote camping experience.
