About
West Rolling Hills Campground sits on the southern shore of Milford Lake, a 15,700-acre reservoir fed by the Republican River with 163 miles of shoreline. The campground layout maximizes lake views, with Loop A sites facing the water. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, this Class A facility provides flush toilets, hot showers, and a dump station. The campground offers 69 sites across three areas: Loop A (22 electric sites plus 4 non-electric), Loop B (37 electric sites), and Loop WROH (6 tent-only sites). Electric sites feature 50-amp service with water hookups. Sites accommodate RVs and trailers up to 60 feet and include fire pits and picnic tables. Thunderbird Marina sits adjacent to the campground. The surrounding 33,000 acres of public land offers hiking, wildlife viewing, and hunting, with nearly 70% open to public hunting. The Milford Nature Center and Fish Hatchery lies below the dam, and a golf course is nearby.
