About
West Rolling Hills is a Class A campground situated along the sparkling shores of Milford Lake, the largest man-made lake in Kansas. The campground layout maximizes views of the 15,700-acre reservoir, which is fed by the Republican River and features 163 miles of shoreline. The facility offers over 60 campsites across multiple loops, including electric sites with water hookups, non-electric sites, and tent-only sites. Modern conveniences include flush toilets and shower facilities. The adjacent Thunderbird Marina provides convenient lake access for boating and water activities. An on-site playground makes this a family-friendly destination. The campground is surrounded by 33,000 acres of public land, with nearly 70% available for hunting. Milford Lake offers excellent opportunities for boating, swimming, fishing, wildlife viewing, hiking, and biking. The Milford Nature Center and Fish Hatchery is located nearby below the dam, and a golf course sits adjacent to the nature center. The campground's location just off I-70 makes it easily accessible while maintaining a peaceful lakeside setting.
