About
Curtis Creek Park is a classic camping destination located on a peninsula at Milford Lake, the largest man-made lake in Kansas. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, this established campground offers spectacular views of both the lake and Milford Dam. The majority of campsites feature electric and water hookups, making it an ideal base for RV campers, while modern amenities including flush restrooms and hot showers ensure a comfortable camping experience. Milford Lake spans 15,700 acres with 163 miles of shoreline fed by the Republican River. The lake is renowned for water skiing, boating, and fishing, with an accessible floating fishing dock providing excellent trout fishing opportunities. The campground area is part of 33,000 acres of public land protected for recreation and wildlife viewing. Nearby attractions include hiking trails such as the Waterfall Trail and Crystal Trail, a wildlife viewing tower, and the Milford Education Center and Fish Hatchery located below the dam.
