About
West Lake Crockett Campground is located on the northwest shore of Lake Davy Crockett, a 450-acre lake built in the 1930s as a recreation site in Caddo National Grassland. The campground was completed in 1968 and offers 12 campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The campground provides basic amenities including potable water from faucets, vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings. Each site costs $10 per night, payable by cash, check, or using the Recreation.gov Scan and Pay QR code feature onsite. Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount. Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
The lake offers shore fishing opportunities, and nearby attractions include Coffee Mill Lake and the Bois D'Arc Trailhead. The campground is situated in the 17,785-acre Caddo National Grassland, which borders both Lake Coffeemill and Lake Davy Crockett in Fannin County, Texas.
