About
Kiamichi Park Campground sits on the shores of Hugo Lake, a 13,250-acre Army Corps of Engineers reservoir on the Kiamichi River in southeast Oklahoma. The campground provides 85 modern sites, with 83 offering electric hookups (30/50 amp), water, and some with full sewer connections. Two primitive non-electric sites are also available. The 13-site equestrian loop on Raccoon Road includes horse stalls for overnight trail riders. The park features a swimming beach, playground, two reservable day-use group shelters, and a boat ramp providing direct lake access. Anglers will find excellent fishing for sand bass, crappie, catfish, and fall bass. The surrounding area offers over 25,000 acres of hunting land, an archery practice range, and a 3,000-acre Quality Deer Management Area. Miles of paved roads throughout the park are ideal for biking and jogging, while wooded trails provide opportunities for hiking and horseback riding. A special-use cabin with 12 bunk beds, full kitchen, and climate control is also available for group reservations. The campground enforces a 14-day stay limit.
