Riverside Campground is located within Watoga State Park, West Virginia's largest state park spanning 10,100 acres in the mountains of Pocahontas County. The campground provides 50 sites, all equipped with 50-amp electric service, making it suitable for RVs, travel trailers, truck campers, and tents. Each site features a picnic table and fire ring for campfires. Amenities include a central bathhouse with showers, coin-operated laundry facilities, and dish-washing stations. Free WiFi is available at the bathhouse. The campground sits along the Greenbrier River, providing easy access to fishing and kayaking. Watoga State Park offers extensive recreational opportunities including over 40 miles of hiking trails, swimming at the Watoga Lake, and wildlife viewing. Reservations can be made online at wvstateparks.com or by phone. Weekend stays require a minimum of two consecutive nights (Friday-Saturday), while weeknight stays have a one-night minimum. Maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights. The campground accepts tents, folding campers, travel trailers, truck campers, motor homes, and van conversions.
