Each campsite includes a parking spur, tent pad, picnic table, fire ring, and lantern post. During the summer season, bathhouses provide flush toilets, hot showers, and running water. In spring and fall shoulder seasons, vault toilets and a hand pump well are available. A dump station serves RV campers, though no hookups are available at individual sites. Lake Sherwood offers fishing opportunities for tiger muskie, channel catfish, bullhead, bluegill, and largemouth bass. Hiking trails include the Lake Sherwood Trail, Upper Meadow Trail, Meadow Mountain Trail, and Meadow Creek Trail. The campground is managed by the Marlinton-White Sulphur Ranger District.
