About

Water Valley Landing sits along the southern shore of Enid Lake, a 16,000-acre Army Corps of Engineers reservoir on the Yocona River about an hour south of Memphis. The campground offers 29 sites with full hookups (electric, water, sewer), flush toilets, hot showers, and a dump station. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Sites accommodate RVs and trailers up to 75 feet. Enid Lake holds the world record for white crappie at 5 pounds, 3 ounces and consistently ranks among the top fishing destinations in the country. The campground provides boat ramp access directly to the lake. Beyond fishing, visitors can explore hiking and interpretive trails, use the swimming beach, or rent the large picnic shelter for group gatherings. The surrounding 44,000 acres of forest offer opportunities for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, though horses and livestock are not permitted within the campground itself. ATVs are prohibited. Firewood must be purchased locally due to invasive pest concerns.
