Water Valley Landing is a quiet, family-oriented campground situated along the banks of Enid Lake in the thick forests of northeast Mississippi. The campground features 29 campsites equipped with full hookups and modern amenities including flush toilets, making it suitable for RVs and campers seeking a comfortable base for lake recreation. Enid Lake has been recognized as one of America's Top 10 Fishing Spots, with white crappie, bass, and catfish available in abundance. The lake is home to the world record white crappie, which weighed 5 pounds, 3 ounces. Fishing tournaments are held annually. Boat ramps at the campground provide easy water access for anglers and boaters alike. Hiking trails wind along the lakeshore and throughout the surrounding landscape, offering opportunities for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Enid Lake is part of a dam project on the Yocona River, creating almost 16,000 acres of water surrounded by an additional 44,000 acres of green forests. The campground includes a playground, interpretive trail, and picnic areas complete with grills and tables. A large picnic shelter is available for rent. Memphis, Tennessee is located about an hour away for those seeking additional attractions.

Directions

From I-55, take exit 227 onto State Route 32 east and continue for 17 miles. Turn onto County Road 53 and continue for 2 miles, following signs into the campground.
