About

Chickasaw Hill Campground sits along the northern shore of Enid Lake, a 16,000-acre U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reservoir on the Yocona River in northern Mississippi. The campground provides 53 campsites with electric hookups, including pull-through sites accommodating RVs up to 72 feet. Modern amenities include flush toilets, showers, a dump station, and paved driveways. Sites feature picnic tables and fire rings, with many offering shade and lakefront views. Enid Lake has earned recognition as one of America's Top 10 Fishing Spots. White crappie, largemouth bass, and catfish are abundant, and the lake holds the world record for white crappie at 5 pounds 3 ounces. Annual fishing tournaments draw anglers from across the region. Beyond fishing, the area offers hiking and biking trails along the lakeshore, horseback riding in the surrounding 44,000 acres of forest, and boating from the on-site boat ramp. The day-use area includes a swimming beach (water levels permitting), picnic shelters with grills, a playground, and an amphitheater. Reservations are required and can be made through Recreation.gov. Memphis, Tennessee is about an hour away for supplies or attractions.
