About
Chickasaw Hill Day Use Area sits along the banks of Enid Lake in the lush forests of northern Mississippi. The facility is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and provides a variety of recreational amenities for day visitors, including a swim beach, boat ramp, playground, and picnic sites with grills and tables. A large picnic shelter is available for group reservations.
Enid Lake has been recognized as one of America's Top 10 Fishing Spots, renowned for white crappie, bass, and catfish. The lake holds the world record for white crappie at 5 pounds, 3 ounces. The dam project on the Yocona River creates nearly 16,000 acres of water surrounded by 44,000 acres of forest.

Directions
From Interstate 55, take exit 233 and head east on County Road 36/Enid Dam Road. At the Enid Lake Field Office, turn north onto Chapel Hill Road and continue for 3 miles. Turn east on Pope Water Valley Road, and after 7 miles turn south on Chickasaw Road and continue into the day use area.
