About

Warner Creek Campground is a small, peaceful developed campground located along Warner Creek in the Almanor Ranger District of Lassen National Forest at 5,200 feet elevation. The facility offers 13 designated campsites, each equipped with a campfire ring and picnic table. The campground operates entirely on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations available. Each campsite can accommodate up to 8 people and one vehicle. The nightly fee is $10 per site, which must be paid upon arrival and prior to each night of camping. Restrooms are available on-site, but campers should bring their own water as potable water is not provided. Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Pets are welcome but must remain on a leash at all times. Off-highway vehicles are prohibited within the campground. Campfires are permitted only in the provided fire rings, and fireworks are strictly prohibited. The campground typically operates from May through October each season.

Directions

From Chester, CA, take State Route 36 west for 8.4 miles to the campground sign. Turn left onto Forest Route 29N03 and proceed 1.8 miles to the campground on the right. Note: The last 1.6 miles is gravel.
