Warm Springs Campground and Picnic Area occupies two wooded acres of lodgepole pine forest in the Pintler Ranger District of Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, approximately 11 miles west of Anaconda along Montana Highway 1. Warm Springs Creek runs adjacent to the campground, making it a convenient base for anglers targeting rainbow, cutthroat, brook, and brown trout. The campground offers basic amenities including picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets, and drinking water. The rustic setting appeals to tent campers and those seeking a quiet retreat from more developed facilities. Georgetown Lake lies within a short drive, providing additional recreation including boating and larger-scale fishing. Nearby trails accommodate hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders exploring the surrounding Anaconda Range and Pintler Wilderness area. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

Directions

From Anaconda, travel approximately 11 miles west on Montana Highway 1. Turn onto Forest Road 170 (Warm Springs Road) and continue to the campground.
