About

Wallace State Park provides a serene camping retreat in Clinton County, Missouri, offering basic and electric campsites across four campground areas. Campgrounds 1-2 operate year-round and include basic, electric, and walk-in tent sites. Campgrounds 3-4 offer basic and electric sites seasonally from April 15 through October 31. Four walk-in campsites provide additional seclusion for tent campers seeking a more primitive experience. Amenities include modern restrooms, hot showers, vault toilets, running water with frost-free spigots, a dump station, playground, amphitheater, and a wood lot. Some sites offer 50-amp electric service. The park's 6-acre lake is stocked for fishing, and four scenic trails wind through the property with benches along the way. All campsites are reservable up to 12 months in advance through the Missouri State Parks reservation system. Weekend reservations require a two-night minimum stay. A special-use camping area accommodates organized youth groups and nonprofit organizations with priority access.
