About

Weston Bend State Park, situated along the scenic Missouri River in northwest Missouri, provides excellent shelter facilities for group gatherings and events. The park's centerpiece is the Bee Creek Shelter, a historic converted tobacco barn that can accommodate up to 125 guests and features tables, chairs, a microwave, refrigerator, restrooms, and a frost-free water hydrant. The park also offers a smaller open shelter that can accommodate up to 50 people, available for reservation or first-come, first-served when not reserved. The park encompasses 1,133 acres of forested river corridor with sweeping views of the Missouri River. Visitors can enjoy over 10 miles of trails, including a 3-mile paved bicycle trail, and an accessible scenic overlook. The park's location along the river makes it excellent for bird-watching, especially during spring and fall migrations. In addition to the shelter facilities, the park features secluded picnic sites, a playground, a dog park, and a campground with both basic and electric campsites. Modern restrooms and amenities are available throughout the park.
