About

Crowder State Park Campground occupies a scenic portion of the 1,912-acre park in the rolling green hills of northern Missouri. Located three miles west of Trenton in Grundy County, the campground serves as a base for exploring over 17 miles of trails for hiking, bicycling, backpacking, and horseback riding. The adjacent 18-acre Crowder Lake offers fishing opportunities for bass, bluegill, channel catfish, and crappie, with boating limited to electric motors only. The campground features multiple site types including basic sites, 30-amp electric sites, and full hookup sites with sewer, water, and electric connections. Two platform tent sites are also available. All standard campsites include a parking pad, picnic table, grill, and lantern post. Modern facilities include restrooms with hot showers, a dump station, laundromat, and playground equipment. Vault toilets are also available. Accessible campsites with extended-end tables and fire rings are located in Campgrounds 1, 2, and 4, including one pull-through accessible site. The campground operates on a reservation system through Missouri State Parks, with reservable dates from March 1 through November 30. Water and shower facilities operate from April 15 through October 31, with a frost-free spigot available at campsite 10 during the off-season. The campground gate closes at 10 p.m. nightly, and camping is limited to 15 days within any 30-consecutive-day period.
