Located along Highway 45 north of Kansas City, Weston Bend State Park Campground provides a convenient escape with sweeping views of the Missouri River and surrounding farmland. The campground underwent major renovations and now offers 15 sites with full hookups including sewer, water, and 50-amp electrical service, alongside basic and electric-only options. Amenities include modern restrooms with flush toilets, hot showers (available April 15 through October 31), laundry facilities, and a dump station. Two electric campsites are ADA accessible, and the showerhouse features roll-in showers and accessible restrooms. Pets are welcome on leashes no longer than 10 feet. The park operates year-round, though water systems and showers are only available during the on-season from April 15 through October 31. Camping is limited to 15 days within any 30-consecutive-day period. Reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance through the Missouri State Parks reservation system.

Directions

From Kansas City, take Interstate 29 north to the Weston/Highway 45 exit. Head north on Highway 45 to the park entrance at 16600 Highway 45 N, Weston.
