Union Grove is closed for construction until further notice. When operational, the campground is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., though sites 15-37 close December 1 through February and reopen March 1 annually. Reservations required via Recreation.gov.

About
Union Grove Park is one of two reservable campgrounds on Stillhouse Hollow Lake, located in central Texas near Salado. The facility features 26 single and 2 double back-in RV sites with 50-amp electric and potable water, 7 tent-only sites with water and electric, 4 pull-through sites, and 3 screened camping shelters. Each site includes a covered picnic table, BBQ grill, and fire ring. The campground has waterborne restrooms with flush toilets and hot water showers, plus a sanitary dump station. Stillhouse Hollow Lake offers 58 miles of shoreline with notably clear, deep water. The campground provides direct access via a four-lane concrete boat ramp with courtesy dock, a fishing dock, and a designated swimming beach. The lake supports largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and channel catfish. Birding opportunities abound with hawks, Great Blue herons, waterfowl, and occasional bald eagles. Nearby attractions include the Village of Salado with golf, galleries, and shopping, and Chalk Ridge Falls Environmental Learning Center below the dam with five miles of hiking trails including a waterfall and wildlife viewing points.
Directions
From Interstate 35 in Salado, Texas, take the Farm-to-Market Road 2484 exit. Travel west on FM 2484 about five miles to Union Grove Park Road and turn right into the facility.
