This is a day-use area only; overnight camping is prohibited. The day-use area is closed seasonally from October 1 through March 1. Currently open for day use from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The park has been leased to Stillhouse Hollow Marina and RV Resort.

About
Stillhouse Park is a day-use recreation area along the shore of Stillhouse Hollow Lake, a 6,430-acre U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reservoir in Bell County, Texas. The park offers two reservable group pavilions (Island View and Tear Drop) suitable for family gatherings and events, along with a swimming beach, picnic sites, basketball and volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits. The park has been leased to Stillhouse Hollow Marina and RV Resort, which now operates the facility. Overnight camping is prohibited at this location. For camping at Stillhouse Hollow Lake, visitors should look to nearby Dana Peak Park or Union Grove Park, both USACE-operated campgrounds. Stillhouse Hollow Lake features 58 miles of shoreline and notably clear, deep water with largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and channel catfish. The nearby Chalk Ridge Falls Environmental Learning Center below the dam offers hiking trails, a waterfall, and wildlife viewing.
Directions
From Interstate 35 in Belton, Texas take State Highway 190 west to the Simmons Road exit. Exit and turn left under 190 onto Simmons Road. Proceed about three miles to the park.
