About
Two Moon Campground is the oldest and most popular campground at Glendo State Park, offering a scenic retreat in a pine forest overlooking Glendo Reservoir. The campground features a mix of tent sites and RV sites with electric hookups available at select locations. Amenities include four vault toilets, seasonal drinking water, a playground, pump track, and three ADA-accessible camping pads. Three yurts are available for year-round rental, providing a comfortable alternative to tent camping. The campground serves as a trailhead for Glendo's extensive non-motorized trail system, with over 45 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails including an easy loop trail that circles the campground with reservoir and dam views. While Two Moon has no direct water access, the Marina boat ramp is located just three-quarters of a mile away, and a popular day-use beach is accessible through nearby Shelter Point Campground. Built to accommodate smaller camping units, most sites are designed for RVs and trailers 27 feet or less, though larger rigs can utilize sites along the main access road near Glendo Park Road. The interior access roads are narrow and winding. The campground offers group camping sites and a large day-use group shelter available for reservation. Reservations are required from May 15 through September 15 and can be made up to 120 days in advance for Wyoming residents. Outside the reservation season, all sites operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
