About
Sagebrush Campground sits on the southern shore of Glendo Reservoir within Glendo State Park, a 22,000-acre recreational destination in Platte County, Wyoming. The campground connects with neighboring Shelter Point and Whiskey Gulch campgrounds along the lakeshore. Its 20 developed sites are spread across four separate areas, offering variety for different camping setups: sites 1-2 are large pull-throughs, sites 3-9 provide back-in parking with partial shade, and group sites 9 and 18 accommodate up to three camping units. Glendo Reservoir offers 12,000 acres of water renowned for world-class walleye fishing, along with populations of smallmouth bass, channel catfish, and other species. The Whiskey Gulch Boat Ramp near the campground provides lake access. The park features over 45 miles of multi-use trails for hiking and biking, a 3D archery range, and swimming beaches. The campground operates year-round, with reservations required during peak season (May 15 to September 15) and first-come-first-served camping available the remainder of the year. Wyoming residents can book 120 days in advance through reserve.wyoming.gov, while non-residents can book 113 days ahead.
