About

Appalachia Bay Recreation Area is a US Army Corps of Engineers campground on Keystone Lake, approximately 20 miles west of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The lake's blue-green water and 330 miles of shoreline provide excellent opportunities for boating, water skiing, swimming, and fishing for striped bass, sand bass, black bass, smallmouth bass, crappie, and catfish. The campground offers 24 reservable sites, most equipped with 30 and 50 amp electrical service and water hookups. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and grill. Facilities include a restroom/shower building, drinking water, and a dump station. The boat ramp with parking, courtesy dock, and fishing dock make this a convenient base for water recreation. A distinctive feature is the 400-acre off-road vehicle park accessible from the campground, accommodating ORVs 64 inches wide or smaller. Nearby attractions include Washington Irving South Recreation Area, Brush Creek Recreation Area with fishing below the dam, and Walnut Creek Park with 17 miles of equestrian trails.
