Cedar Crest Conference Center is open and available for event rentals. This is a conference and meeting venue, not a campground. For overnight camping, use the separate Twin Lakes State Park campground.
About
Cedar Crest Conference Center is a day-use event and meeting facility located within Twin Lakes State Park in Prince Edward County, Virginia. Situated on the shores of Prince Edward Lake, this venue offers three climate-controlled indoor conference rooms with capacities of 135, 35, and 16 respectively. The rental includes access to a caterer's kitchen, banquet room, spacious deck, outdoor gazebo, several picnic shelters, and parking for event guests.
This facility is designed for meetings, weddings, corporate retreats, and family reunions rather than overnight camping. Guests seeking camping or overnight lodging should reserve sites at the separate Twin Lakes State Park campground or rent one of the park's 11 cabins. The conference center pavilion features ADA-accessible bathrooms, parking, and pathways.
Twin Lakes State Park itself is a 548-acre historic park offering swimming, fishing, hiking, boating, and lakeside picnicking. The park is located less than an hour's drive from Richmond in rural central Virginia.
