About
Twin Harbors State Park Campground occupies a prime stretch of Washington's southern coast between Westport and Grayland. The Shifting Sands Nature Trail connects the campground to an expansive sandy beach, where visitors can dig for razor clams during open seasons, fly kites in the persistent coastal winds, or simply enjoy the rolling surf. The park's coastal pine forest provides natural windbreaks for campsites while maintaining that quintessential Pacific Northwest beach atmosphere. The campground offers a range of accommodations from primitive hiker/biker sites to full-hookup RV sites, though larger rigs face limitations with a maximum site length of 35 feet and tight spacing in the hookup loops. Heated yurts and rustic cabins provide roofed options year-round. Facilities include restrooms with showers, potable water, a dump station, and firewood sales. Each campsite comes equipped with a fire pit and picnic table. The park serves as an excellent base for exploring the Westport area, known for its fishing charter fleet, lighthouse, and maritime museum. The beach stretches for miles in both directions, connecting to adjacent Grayland Beach State Park to the south.
Directions
From Westport, drive south on State Route 105 for approximately 3 miles. The park entrance is on the right (west) side of the highway. From Aberdeen, take US-101 south to SR-105, then continue south through Westport.
